I never thought I would say this, but THANK YOU Hugh Heffner!!!!!

The "Save the Peak" efforts worked!  The Hollywood sign will STAY!  YAY!

Thanks to Hugh's donation of $900,000, which brought the total up to the 

$12.5 million they needed, the sign will remain.
